No, I still have a valid visa, but due to changing circumstances could lose it in a month or so. Hoping to find a way to legally stay in the country.

Scubaroo - I am not an attorney (I don't even play one on TV), although many have wondered if I am indeed an attorney (and isn't it funny how the attorneys that offer such speculation think it is a compliment and those that aren't attorneys think it is an insult to offer such possibility), but I have had occasion to work with a wide range of immigration issues over the past two years. If you would like to share some of the details with which you are dealing, I may be able to provide you with a description of some of the procedural issues that may be germane to your issues (as opposed to "advising" or providing legal counsel on such matters) or direct you to somone with information.

Feel free to post information or PM me. FYI, the BCIS web site can be quite helpful. And FYI, expect the worst, because it is probably your best-case scenario in these times.

You sure you aren't an attorney? I have no clue what you intended to say...but it was indeed entertaining...
