I bought this ScubaPro G250 2nd stage coupled with an unknown 1st stage. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Rick

The G250 was supplied with a MK 10 first stage from the mid 1980's.

The Mk5 has a somewhat wider body than the Mk10. That picture is a Mk10.

looks like a 10---can you get a good closeup of it only???......

My money is on a MK 10 too. It looks like there is a plastic saddle. (The MK5 usually has a chrome saddle.) Look at where the ambient holes are. If they are in the main body it is a 10; if in the cap that screws onto the body, then it is a 5.

Plus, if Awap said it is a 10, then it is a 10.

I'm waiting for it to arrive. The description about where the ambient holes should be enough to let me figure it out after it gets here.

Thanks all.

It really looks like a MK10; from the photo it looks like the seat retainer takes up almost all the real estate on the end of the reg. If it was a MK5, the seat retainer would probably look a little smaller in comparison to the diameter of the reg.

I'm still looking for a MK10 spec boot if anyone has one for sale.

Make one....wide rubber band or old tire innertube.... :-)
Now, send me $15 for that tip.....just kiddding, but I'm interested to know if anyone has come up with DIY spec kit.
