I recently received, but have yet to use a Stylus 1030 SW with the PT-043 housing and a 2gb xd card. I really like the idea of a waterproof camera inside of an underwater housing.

Has anybody had any experience with this camera and/or housing?

I have the camera & housing, but haven't had them in the water yet. One problem with the camera and u/w photography is the camera's flash does not fire in supermacro mode. Without a flash you can't get a slave strobe to fire; no light, no picture. To get around this limitation (you will want to take macro images) you need an Inon-165 macro lens adapter and a 67mm-52mm step down ring. With the Inon, you can shoot the camera in macro mode, the flash will fire and you can do closeups. Other than that, it looks like a fund little u/w camera.
