Does any one have any first hand experience with the Cressie Leonardo Computer. I have the opportunity to pick one up for cheap that functions flawlessly. Currently I am using an old set of sherrwood gauges that work but are a little bulky.

I dive monthly for my work but can not afford to replace their equipment if i happen to lose of break the gear. My leisure diving is not very active right now but I am looking at completing my PADI dive master certification in 2016. I am also looking at picking up a Nitrox certification by the end of this year.

This is the link to the computer I am referring to.

I have the wrist mounted version it is easy to setup and read. Only have about 19 dives with it so far but it does what I need it to do and if I need something with more features in the future I figured I can use it in gauge mode.

They seem to be solid and of good quality.

If you search on here you will see a bunch of threads where people do not like them due to how conservative they are so take that into account dependent on your style / needs.

My dad dives one and likes it for the most part. I've played around with it a few times. The screen layout is pretty nice with easily readable numbers. Backlight is nice. I find one button computers to be a nuisance, but with a download kit I suppose there's not a whole lot of need to cycle between menus. One point to note is that it's quite conservative (apparently), as it put him into deco after two dives on our vacation. Nothing very deep and he's an air sucker so not long dives either.

I dove a rental one for a couple of dives when I got certified. I couldn't get past the one button annoyance. I couldn't imagine setting nitrox or anything else on it.

I went with a used Suunto Cobra. I do not need an internal compass and am pretty good with a regular compass. I dive with Sunnto Cobra 3 computer for work so this the learning curve will be quick. Plus my dive instructor and local dive shop service these and I am comfortable diving within the limits of these computers.
