One of the main reasons I got the S1 was for its superior video capabilities, besides the x10 zoom and image quality. The underwater video is outstanding, as good as any dv footage I have seen plus the x10 zoom is very handy for getting a closer look at those otherwise elusive fish.
However, at the superfine setting of 30fps 640x480 size the files are huge, about 1gb for 9 mins. The S1 is a very versatile underwater camera, most of the images in my gallery were taken with the S1.

I now have a couple of Video clips using the S1 underwater.
I can't find anywhere to host them on the web.

If anyone would like a copy, please drop me an email with either
cuttlevision-small
cuttlevision-large
in the subject, and i'll endeavour to send a copy on.

The former is about 700k/13 seconds, the latter 8.5Megs/35seconds. Both are in .wmv format

Both are of Cuttlefish, shot off the north GBR in Oz, a week or so ago.

If anyone knows of a free/low cost website that hosts VIDEO, please let me know, as the usual suspects (pbase, yahoo, as well as scubaboard), disallow these files (even if they are renamed!)

cheers.
