As I wander the internet I rarely see any ex-military dive instructors. I.e. Navy Divers, EOD, SWCC, Coast Guard, Army, or Marine divers. Is there not enough money to be made as an instructor? Just curious as I lay around dreaming of warm water diving.

FYI, I've done a number of Submarine deployments inside the people tank, however I find it much more enjoyable to be outside the people tank!

the military dive certs don't transfer over to recreational, so they generally have to recert as divers, then go through the whole instructor process. They also don't have the time to be able to devote to proper instruction. There are many former military divers in technical/cave diving, and at the university level btw.
