Anyone know of any diving groups/organizations that i can join around LA? I'd love to make some new friends and hang out?

You should post this in the SoCal section of the California Kelp Divers forum.

There are lots of good and generous divers in the L.A. area.

Many of us here will gladly help you get wet as long as you are honest about your skills and are safe. Lot going on with oppertunities to meet future dive buddies. I know I will be diving with a bunch of fun loving divers @ Casino Point, Avalon on Saturday Oct. 30th. You are very welcome to join in.
