I think there was a course run in Queensland a few months ago, with 2-3 students. The GUE instructor from Singapore (?) was over. I think I read it on www.diveoz.com on their DIR forum

hiya there was an instructor Gillian from singapore did 3 classes in sydney in think over 3 weekends in feb march. through the www.divesydney.com.au it is my local LDS i was lucky enough to have him set up my new halycon eclipse bp as he was in the store at the time.
I only found out about the course then and was prepared to do the course still need some gear but they said it went really well and already planning to come back i think they will advertise a lot more maybe in dive log if you read it
this is the link from someone in brissy just did the course

Hi Dan,

How are you?
Keep me updated. We have exploration projects going on here in the Philippines.

Best regards,
Martin

Dan Gibson:
Actually, it's Gideon Liew. You can reach him at:

http://www.gue.com/info/resumes/liew.html

He is a very good instructor. I went through a Fundamentals (second time just for the fun of it) class when he was doing his ITC/IE.

There is also Martin Lorenzo in the Philappines. Also a very good instructor I had the pleasure to dive with during the same class.

Martin,

I'm doing pretty good these days. Jay (a.k.a. Lackey)and I finished up Cave 2 with a buddy last December and have been back down to High Springs a couple of times since then. I just got back yesterday from the latest trip. I am trying to get down there about every 6 weeks. A few weeks ago we had a goup that included Brando. He has some footage from our Waterhole dives at Peacock on his web site. If you haven't found his site, it's located at www.scubaguys.com
