Another VA diver signs on

Hi Everyone!

I'm currently living in Virginia Beach, VA and am looking forward to seeing if I can use ScubaBoard to find people to dive with on an upcoming X-country trip in Sept. & Oct..

My regular Dive Buddy and I are diving Bonne Terre mine in MO at the start of the trip but I'm going to have to find others to dive with when I get to The Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, NM and the Homestead Crater up in Utah. Buddy requests will follow as the dive dates are locked in!

I'm looking forward to exploring the site and to seeing what others have to say about some of the other dive sites across the country.

I am coming your way in a few days. got to get my kids certified between the 23rd and 26th of June. Then back here to AZ by the 1st July. May be in for the blue hole if you would like and it is not too cold.

Tooley: Great! Catch up with either the Cheapeake Bay Diving Center in Portsmouth or Lynnhaven Dive Center in Virginia Beach and join one or both dive clubs! Both have monthly meetings and you can get all the info you want / need about local trips, etc., etc. Hope to see you in the water one of these days!

Hi Whitney!

I highly recommend diving with Lynnhaven Dive Center. They are who I did my training wtih and I've had many good dives off their boat, the "Miss Lindsey". Their crews are knowledgeable and do everything they can to make your dives safe as well as fun. If you have someone to dive with you'll be all set but if you don't have a buddy, they will team you up with someone on board.

Whitney, if you are not already a member of the Lynnhaven Dive Center DIVE CLUB, The Hammerheads, it's worth the cost to join if you are going to be using Lynnhaven to dive with. Check it out when you book your boat trip! The guy who runs the Dive Club is Dana Chapman, an EXCELLENT guy who is one of the LDC instructors..... It's a really good group.....
