Certified around 2021, I've split my diving between the South Puget Sound (Seattle WA area, cold, dark, dry), and tropical.
Call myself a newbie but take diving seriously, so far 270 dives in 3 years and diving multiple times weekly if possible. My other hobby is ridiculous running through mountains when able. I believe in being as self reliant as possible, and if I can mitigate risk as much as possible to avoid being a bad story, then that's a success.
Also I carry a gopro & a backscatter macro 15x lens and attempt to get good stuff, need to dust off the TG6 I inherited from my wife/dive buddy when she upgraded, attempting to put together adventures on youtube, good for info but I'm a horrible video editor
I actually loved diving in the puget sound, sure it's cold and the drysuit is bulky, but so much life and great people. Not complaining though, now living in Hawaii
