I recently found this forum
So i am going to post an introduction

I was introduced to diving young by an uncle in a swimming pool with his borrowed gear ..It was only like 4 or 5 feet of water but as soon as i started breathing underwater on the bottom of that pool i was hooked ....
It then took me 4 or 5 years to have the expendable income to get my certifications and classes out of the way but now with an advance open water cert and a numerous amount of dives under my belt I still find it as enjoyable now as i did when i started oh so long ago .......

Now I am tired of using rental equipment and have started compiling my own equipment one piece at a time when i find a deal or two
1st figured a BD : my thought was that you kind of build off of this
2nd got a really good deal on a steel tank : guy at a dive shop suggested one a while ago and I have loved the stubby fat thing ever since then
3rd : well now I am on the hunt for the 1st stage ...looking for a good din one

thinking i like the unbalanced vs the balanced
but i am not clear on the piston vs diaphragm
looking now at a Zeagle ReZort or a OMS ............
but the search goes on and these are new my hopes are to score a sweet used one when someone wants to upgrade
Well that is a little bit of my story and hopefully a decent introduction to all that are on the forum .....

Lets stay as safe as we can

thanks you 73's
