Just found out about this place last week. Looks like a great place. I'm fairly new to the diving world and am always looking for tips and suggestions. I live in the great state of Kentucky. Dove Laurel Lake last week in my new Henderson Semi- Dry {thanks BengalsMgtSucks}. Looking forward to meeting up with people of like interest. Later.

Dove Laurel last Monday, went to the spillway, dam area, I guess it is also known as the guard rail. Went with a buddy of mine and a friend of his. They are doing some work ups for a deep class or tri-mix, I'm not sure which. I had a tough time, too many new variables this time. It will work out though. Later

Welcome Unit 240.
I don't know where Laurel Lake is. The only Ky water I have dove is Cerulean. If you should decide you want to dive there give me a yell, maybe I can join you. It's a nice site, 16 acre quarry with some boats and vehicles sunk for your entertainment. Also some huge catfish,turtles and bluegill that I could swear are part pirannah. Don't be still and they can't get you. It is strictly for diving and swimming. Lots of people do their classes and checkout dives there. The brochere claims it is the clearest water in Ky. I don't know, I haven't dived all the other waters here.
