How the heck do you equalize when diving a full face mask with regulator.

Some masks have little sticky-outy things that you can push up against your nose. Sometimes you need to yawn.

ahhhhhh
ok thanks
i was just wondering couse i have to hold my nose to equalize.
i knowtice that i do not have to equalize as much now like i was when i started to freedive.

Eventually if you dive enough, you kind of reach a point where you no longer equalize, your ears do it on their own. Sometimes this happens while climbing a flight of stairs. It actually get's annoying for a while, then you get used to it.

At this point it is time to get a full face mask.

With the old MK-5 we would just press our nose against the side of the hat. Chewing gum works. Almost everyone had their own idea that works one way or another.

And some hhave a exposed oral/nasal that you can squeeze your nose through to equalize. I believe the Ocean Reef FFMs have this, and some 'band masks', like some Kirby-Morgan ones.
