I'm coming home again! So last year, we had a great time in PG and Bohol. This time, we only have a week from Dec. 25-31, so we're staying in Anilao. I picked Aquaventure because out of the 6 package quotes I got, they were the most affordable with unlimited shore diving (and WIFI?). I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help me with:
1. Roundtrip transfer is 7600 pesos. Grabe naman. What are my other options? Are there private buses or "for hire" drivers that go to Anilao? (that won't charge so much)
2. I'm sending full payment for the lodging/eating portion of our trip. The way Aquaventure breaks down their dive cost (separate DM fee, boat fee?!, conservation fee) left me thinking I shouldn't pay for the dive part until we're done diving. Am I right? Does the boat fee go down if there are more divers? (If so, any of you guys wanna join us?!)
3. To those who have stayed at Aquaventure, can you describe a typical day of diving? Do they have a schedule/how flexible are they? Is the house reef any good?
4. Which dive sites would you recommend if I like weird critters and colorful walls? If I see a mandarin fish and a rhinopia, I'm instantly a happy fuggler.
