Just starting my dry suit journey Found an Andy's dry suit (used) for $450, appears to e in very good shape (from a dive shop). Would like to hear opinions.

Thanks,
Mark

I dive an Andys tech DS. It is my first so I really have nothing to compare with but I do like it. Stays as dry as any other drysuit from what I have read. Repairs are easy enough since there are folks both in the north and south that will work on it. Price is good and as long as the seals are ok and it fits you, go for it.

if it fits you, *buy it!* i love my andy's - it is dry dry dry! no leaking at any seams, dry. seals are easy to home replace. did i mention it is dry? it is a wonderful suit.

what size are you looking for...have a used one in GREAT shape with underwear, sz med...can definately do better on price

+2 on the typhoon or the Andy's. I dive the user changeable seals version and bib front entry. IMHO there is no other suit that compares to those features.

I have a USIA and purchased an Andy's for my wife. My suit is; in my opinion, very nice. However, compared to my wife's, you would think it was a Wal-Mart special. Her suit is truly a high quality product. I personally have never seen a DUI suite, as I do not hand with the rich crowd, but have been told that Andy’s is every bit as good a suit, and would have to believe it because I am not sure how you could improve on the quality of this one. With that said I must confess that I paid much less for hers.
