I’m visiting the Andaman Islands for three weeks in December. Please does anyone have recommendations for places to see and dive? I get the impression that despite its wilderness reputation, some of the more wellknown dive bases are actually pretty busy. I’d like to get as far off the beaten track as possible, and do some challenging dives, too. Would be very grateful for any information!

Thanks.

3 weeks seems a bit excessive. Havelock & Neil are the only easily accessible islands for foreigners and at the time I visited there were issues with the regional govt banning boat diving. Not a good experience overall. The few dives I did manage to get in had crummy vis and average fish/corals.
