So, my team got toned out for 2 water rescues today, both of them dry runs, one actually getting requested by the Coast Guard to shoot across to Connecticut for a boat going down. Even though none of us got wet, its still great to get the blood pumping and working out what needs to be done and constantly changing how I do things personally just to be able to get into the water quicker and safer. and flying across the sound at 38 knots in the dark is aways fun.
 
Dry runs are very good practice.

50 to 60mph is more fun than an old 38K. :D

i agree but with a just a 23 foot boat with a single outboard we are lucky we got that.
