The anchor chain of a very large personal superyacht owned by Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen, is allegedly responsible for the damage to the reef.

Location is near West Bay, Grand Cayman - near the Knife dive site, and the Doc Poulson wreck.


... crazy bummer. How often does something like this happen? Seems like an excessive amount of damage. Boat crew seems to be blaming the harbor authorities.
 
hmmmm, not good. seems more concerned with finding lost ww2 battleship wrecks than conservation of fragile reefs!. If they are found to be at fault I hope they get fined.
