Analox O2eii turning off after only being on a few secs

Anyone else have this issue? Had my hand held for years now. changed the o2 sensor new battery and it just started turning off randomly. I was analyzing a tank will read fine then poof turns off. I turn it back on try to read another tank poof turns off mid analysis. Ugh called analox during their business hours no answer. 🙄
