An Update on my issue.

Okay for those who didn't read it and want to know what I'm yammering about. My big issue was mask clearing without trying to drown myself. Needed help got good advice from great folks on here. And now not an issue.


Did my two check out dives today. And HOORAH! Nailed it cold. Grabbed it by the throat, choked it a bit, body slammed it and gave it a chair shot for good measure.

My instructor kind of laughed when he got to me to do the mask clear and I was twirling it on my forearm and scrathing my nose.

You all helped with the suggestions and my amigo helped by tossing me in the pool sans mask and making do some skills without it. After 3 hours of that....PRESTO! Mask clearing? Oh that thing on my arm....right I'll put it back on now a clear it for your amusement.

Thanks to all. Can not wait til tomorrow to do the boat dives and get my C-Card. :bonk::bonk:

Excellent - you arleady have the perfect attitude for Scuba! Now, you just need to get that work thingy down so you can pay for bunches of new toys.

Thanks for the link I'll check it out...now to turn in. 2 1/2 hour drive then 2 dives and drive back....gonna be looooong day....with an all to brief stint of diving.
