What's the minimum age? 18?

I have to agree with the above, I find it surprising that the only requirement is OW. Would an OW diver be able to respond to an emergency with the same speed and mindset as a trained divemaster or AT LEAST rescue diver would? No, I don't think so.


What does everyone else think about these requirements?

Please don't try to hijack my thread. If you want to discuss the requirements of an organization that you likely know little about about a racing sport you are most likely not involved in, please take it someplace else.
