Paid $7500 CAN ( $5500 US) for this unit new. It was never actually installed so never used. I am selling this for $3500 CAN ( roughly $2570 US) plus shipping. It is located in Alberta Canada.

This containment fill stations provide enhanced safety for operator when refilling SCBA cylinders and SCUBA cylinders at the scene. This is a Class 2 fill station. This provides the operator protection from the cylinder fragments of a ruptured SCBA cylinder, SCUBA cylinder or other high pressure breathing apparatus cylinder. The accompanying air blast is not contained. BoomBoxes™ are used on rescue trucks, air trucks and in stationary refill applications for the air refill station operator when refilling high pressure breathing air cylinders.
• Dual containment fill station
• Door locking bar, (manual)
• Two fill hose, bleed valve, nut/nipple, no On/Off valve
• Stainless air bleed valve
• 2216/4500 PSI handtight nut & nipple

Designed to contain the fragments of accidental cylinder rupture or hose failure, while allowing the air blast to be vented quickly and in a direction away from the operator.

A safety interlock prevents SCBA or SCUBA filling unless the front access door is completely closed and locked in place.

The carriage design "tilts" toward the operator whenever the door is opened. This facilitates loading and unloading cylinders and minimizes operator fatigue.

This fill station is not mfg nor distributed by American Airworks. It appears to be a fill station distributed by Airetex Compressors, a company in Texas that sold the Alkin line of compressors and fill station. American Airworks does offer a new two position fill station, and soon a single and three position station, that will hold a 120 CF scuba tank with a boot on it. www.americanairworks.com for additional information. Airworks also is a Haskel service center with new and refurbished Haskel boosters for sale.
