ambergris cay diving vs placencia diving - preferences??

Hey guys,

Going to Belize for first time in June. What places to dive do you prefer? Amberguise or San Pedro? We were looking to stay at ramons village in amerguise or laru beya resort in plalencia. Any experiences or opinions on where to dive??? I'm sure both areas are great but just wanted to hear some opinions.

Ramones is great. We stay in a house not far from there when we go down. Boats from both places will take you to the same dice sites. Hol chan is great for both divers and snorkelers.
I don't think you will have any issues with either place, although I only have first hand experience with ramones.
