I thought he was shooting these in a home aquarium, but he said he isn't? Some of those look like they would take a life time to get to happen.

I agree! I saw that link on Facebook this morning, and immediately had to share it everywhere, including here :)
 
Not to mention the fact that he had to know where to find the right critters to set the shot up with. He is quoted as saying that one shot would take a whole dive, and I believe it. For example, you know where the blue ring is, yeah? And you've got to place the figures and wait, wait, wait until the animal decides to approach in just the right way.... very, very cool.
