OK i have not been diving in like 2 weeks and I am like going throw a withdrawal :sofa: I mean am I the only one who does this? i was starting to think about takeing my tank in the shower with me :scubadive lol.

I had a looong period over the winter where I knew how many days it'd been. I was prepared for the DA (Divers Anonymous) meeting: "Hi, I'm Rob and it's been 57 days since I got wet."

Broke the streak with an equipment check-out dive in the LDS's pool.

Well over the last couple of days here in Tampa it have been constantly raining. I was honestly thinking of taking my gear with me the other morning when I had to walk out to my truck.

Paul

a sinus infection had me out of the water this last weekend
and probably this weekend as well.

when im over it im ready for a dive-marathon week:

a weekday evening 2 tank night dive
a weekday morning 1 tank 90 minuite shore dive
saturday and sunday:
2 tank morning boat trip followed by either a 100+ minute 1 tank shore dive or another 2 tank boat trip

i live in South Florida. Diving is all you can do in this nuclear blast we have called summer.

You guys must have missed the class on NDLs (Non Diving Limits) in your OW class. You need to get underwater immediately (Australian/South Florida method in-water decompression) in order to treat the symptoms.

It would be a great personal sacrifice, but I'll be glad to join you if you're near Miami. You need professional, medical supervision...

In a word - no, you're certainly not alone.

Hi, my name is FreeFloat and it has been 4 days since I have been Wet. I can usually tolerate dryness up to about 7 or 8 days, but by days 10 I just have to throw myself in the nearest puddle of enough depth to submerge. It's a compulsion, an addiction, an obsession, and I am completely controlled by it. I have no choice but to succumb..............
