Aluminum d-rings with a Pony

I am taking a class soon that requires a pony bottle. I dive with a ScubaPro Litehawk which has, I believe, aluminum d-rings. Can these d-rings handle a slung al 40 pony or is this going to be a problem?

I have oms aluminum d rings on my sidemount harnes I have not seen any problems with even steel tanks onboard the boat. The finish does scratch but nothing to affect the function.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t think it would be an issue, but figured I would ask before the class began. I could see me finning along trying to hold my pony as the d-rings drifted off to the sea floor, lol.
