Aluminum backplate zeagle ranger???

I was told that you can put an aluminum backplate on a Zeagle Ranger,
1- Is this true?
2- If so will any basic aluminum backplate fit the ranger, ie: a Dive Rite aluminum backplate?

My friend had his plate and tank bands stole out of his truck and I wanted to replace them for him as a surprize, thus this is why I know nothing about the Zeagle Ranger, any help would be appreciated..

You can use the wing from the Ranger to the Zeagle backplate & harness system. As far as the ability to use another brand with backplate with the wing or the harness system, I'm not entirely sure but would imagine it possible. You may want to repost under the Zeagle manufacturers forum. Scott the owner can and answer all your questions most accurately.

i put a Zeagle Stiletto wing on a Dive Rite SS backplate. you won't be able to use a single tank adapter, you'll have to feed the cam straps through the slots on the wing and the slots in the backplate. If the Ranger wing is build the same as the Stiletto, which i assume it would be, then the cam strap slots will line up between the wing and the backplate.
