I have a G12 with a WP-DC34 underwater case. I hate the flash defuser that comes with the case. It will not stay in place. Is there a better alternative. I have considered cutting a piece of milky plastic an taping across the flash. Is this insane or does anyone have a better idea? Thanks

Lisa

The only real catch is that whatever you do, it needs to be out near the end of the lens. The difuser sits where it is to help bend light around the end of the lens and fill in the shadow caused by the lens in the lower right corner of the image. Whatever you go with, test it on a few closeup shots to make sure the shadow is not going to be a problem.

Thanks. It sounds like my idea will not work. I thought it seemed too easy...
