Alternate Air Source

I was reading on the Taka Dive website that a second air source is required by Queensland law.

Scuba diving and Liveaboard dive trips to Great Barrier Reef

Does this mean a pony tank is required, or just a single Octopus?

If a pony is required, what size is required?

Hi,

It actually says "Queensland law requires all divers to dive with an alternate air source Eg. 2nd Octopus" so a pony isn't required, just a primary and secondary regulator. Didn't realise this was law but it's a pretty standard req.
