Ok, this is probably going to sound like a dumb question. But here goes. When using a camera under water is it not easier to compose your shot with the L.C.D. screen rather than the view finder. I was disappointed to hear that it can not be done with the Xti.
How does one see through that little tiny viewfinder?

It is not as hard as it sounds. I wear glasses and have no problem. I know there is one manufacturer making as DSLR that you can use the LCD screen to compose but I forget the name. Not sure you can get a housing for it. I took all the photos in my gallery and here http://www.divephotofest.com/index.php?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=17&g2_itemId=1957 using a Rebel 350D. If I can do it, you should have absolutely no trouble...:D

There is only one SLR that will support using the LCD instead of optical viewfinder and that's the OLY E330.

I just recently picked up an XTI, I haven't purchased an underwater case for it yet but I'm thinking about it. I'm just not sure I'm ready to risk my new toy to salt water. ;-)

Thanks guys
