I was certified in 2006 but only dove a few times in Hawaii and didn't dive in the Sound after I got back because rental dry suits weren't available at that time.

I am re-taking the open water course right now to prepare for a two month trip to Maui.

I plan to dive a lot while I'm there, and I hope to dive a lot when I get back to Seattle because I have a lot of free time. If anyone would like to dive with a relative newbie, either in Maui or in Seattle, send me a note!

Send me a PM when you're back in Seattle . . . it is one of my personal pleasures to dive with new divers. So much generosity was shown to me when I was new, I really enjoy paying that forward.

You might also consider joining our little, local dive forum, nwdiveclub.com There are a LOT of active Seattle area divers there, and no one ever wants for a buddy!
