Hey there, new to diving, new to the boards, we're just going to the open water classes (my wife and I) starting next week at Dive Oahu. We're getting pretty excited about it and really looking forward to exploring the underworld. We've been here for 3 years now and I never really even thought about scuba, not sure why, but I am in the Marines and sometimes, well MOST of the time, there isn't time to think about anything but your normal routine. So in preparation for our upcoming deployment (2nd time to Iraq), I figured my wife might find some sanctuary in scuba diving.
So far, this website has been super helpful in researching some of the questions that I've had about this sport, so thank you all for that.
