The talk of the reefs being dead in the Keys are a bit overblown,
The reefs definitely have challenges as do others in the Caribbean.
That being said the fish life at this reef yesterday was explosive!
20/25 grouper, Nassau tiger and black
Truck size nurse sharks
10 green morays 2 turtles
100s of snapper, yellowtail snapper
Numerous full size parrotfish of all makes
Besides the multitude of the usual reef denizens
Don’t know why but a manatee on the surface
That being said viz was horrible 20 feet of green snowy water
Goin thru pix now to see if anything is somewhat presentable
 
Good to hear, except for the viz. Heading that way in Nov, so will plan to check it out.. thanks.
