We are planning to book the All Star Scuba Scene for our next liveaboard. They have cabins on the main deck and upper deck which appear very similar to. The entry for the main deck is through a central hallway while the upper deck rooms have an exterior entrance. I like the idea of an exterior entrance but am curious if anyone has experience on the Scuba Scene and can provide some insight. My concern with the upper deck cabins is whether they will experience more motion than the main deck. Any feedback on the cabins on either deck is welcome.

We're on that boat in November and have an upper cabin booked. Motion sickness doesn't bother either of us typically, but when we were on the Belle Amie in Socorro 18 months ago, we had some fairly uncomfortable quartering seas on our overnight transit from Cabo. For the first time ever, my wife was laid flat for the first day or so. Our cabin was on the top deck and it was definitely rocking and rolling. It seemed at times were going to be rolled out of bed. Belle Amie has a stabilizing system and I don't believe Scuba Scene does. What I can't tell you is if the cabins one deck below would have been any different, but I kind of doubt it.

We booked the upper cabin because we like the direct exit to the outside. Given the number of fires and accidents on liveaboards lately, it seemed prudent. (Scuba Scene does appear to be a very safe boat, as was Belle Amie)
