we're planning a dive trip to an all-inclusive w/kids' club and very large pools in Cozumel, late june. we're a family of 7: dad, mom, boy 17, boy 17, boy 17,girl 10, boy 7. (no, they're not triplets. one is my son, two are nephews.) parents have been diving for 10 years, 17 year old son was certified two years ago. my husband and i have college degrees. husband is a professional, i'm a stay-at-home mom. we live in missouri. we've cashed in some frequent flyer/stay points to get a promotion for $136/night. we're allowed to book up to 4 rooms but are using only 2 rooms. this resort allows two children under 13 free per room, per two paying adults. because one of our rooms will be booked with three adults (our three 17 year olds), per the terms of the resort rules, we will be able to book one child under 13 for this second room. if you're a family that has 3 children under 13, this may be of interest to you. you would book one room with two adults and two children. we'd book the other child in our second room as if s/he is with us. of course s/he would stay in your room. if you would pitch in $30/night it would help with both families' costs: your family would have to book only one room (two adults, two children), we would have to book two rooms (one room with two adults and two children, second room with three adults, one child). this would save you from having to book two rooms ($136 X 2 = $272/night) and would help us a ltitle. our dates are flexible (but i'd love to take advantage of the july 4th holiday so my husband can take one less day off work). if you're interested, email me.
