Hi all, Merry Christmas! :santasmil:

I am thinking of going to Coz next year with my (adamantly) non-diving wife.

Can anyone recommend any good all inclusive resorts (preferably spa rather than activity) so that SWMBO can be kept entertained whilst I get wet :14:

TIA

Dom

I've tried the Allegro and the Reef Club both this year, and I'd certainly suggest the Allegro of the two. But pack some 100 watt light bulbs.

If you want to use a different operator, they'll pick you up there, but your 10 minute warning is before you even board.

To help narrow your search, here are 51 other posts on All Inclusives in Mexico, although some of them may not be in Cozumel...

After reviewing that, maybe come back with more specific questions.

IMO the nicest AI on the island is Occidental Grand. Newest and nicest. You can find some posts here about the facility. Reef Club is fine if you upgrade to one of the time share units.

The nicest AI, hands down, is the newish Occidental Grand---->

The food could be a bit better, and it's a long walk to the pier, but the overall package is outstanding. Served by Dive Palancar which does a fully adequate job.

A few kms south is the Iberostar http://www.iberostarcozumelvacations.com/ , also quite nice, which I would recommend over the Allegro & Reef Club. However, don't dive with the onsite, Dressel Divers. Nearly any of the other 75+ ops on Coz will pick up at their pier.

Best regards.

Hey, Dom,

I concur wholeheartedly with Doc Vickingo..............I know you would like the Iberostar for SPA atmosphere, also agree on use of operator other than the in house operation.

regards,
