Over here, no joke, you could write my first name and city only and I almost guarantee it would get to me. Big brother is all over us here for sure, especially if you're gaijin.

It helps that you also have a postal service that gives a damn. The USPS has some great people that will bend over backward to make things right, but as an organization they don't give a damn.

As an example I accidentally put the wrong zip code on an order, my fault I know but, it spent weeks bouncing from post office to post office in the Houston area. Instead of looking up the address, it seems that they randomly sent it to another post office. When I called to see about fixing it, the response was "We can't do anything until it has stopped moving for five days."

And that is just one of many many examples.
 
This was "signature required" and they (USPS) tried to drop and run. When caught and confronted, and refused by recipient, the carrier took it and threw it in the garbage can at the street of the house the delivery was to be made to....

I have nothing good to say about the USPS...
 
Today I was at the Canadian postal centre looking at a project, jokingly I mentioned about my lost package. Coincidence no idea but guess what my package showed up today.
