So, when I report my own thread I.e. asking for it to maybe be moved to a different forum and you then eventually do move it, I get an alert that it was moved. Great. Except, when I then click on that alert to see where it went I get an Error message stating I do not have permission to go to that link... Maybe in the alert you link to some inner workings I may indeed not belong...But why, why not give me an easy shot at finding that thread with that alert rather than linking me to somewhere were I am shut out from???

Edit:
In this case my reported thread was
The Wreck Preservation Ale / Sydney Cove
And of course I can work and type to find it (won’t let me copy the text in the alert)... But why not link to the actual thread in the alert, why to link to the below, just to then say, “ahhh, but you do not get to look here” ... No problem really, just quite odd...

You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

What you have there is not the notification of the thread move, but rather a back-room notification.

When a report is made, a thread is created in the Mod area with you as the OP. It is in a forum called "Unclaimed cases". When someone claims the case it is moved to "In Process" and once dealt with it is moved to "Closed Cases"

When moving these reports around, there is a check box to "Notify thread starter", in this case the reporter. It is checked by default, we usually uncheck it to avoid this sort of thing but sometimes we forget and you will get a notification linking to the Staff Area as you have above.
