Aladin Tech 2G Problem

Hello:

I purchased a pre-owned Aladin Tech 2G. I use the unit in Gauge mode. I am unable to reset the stop watch during the dive. Per the owner's manual, the stop-watch automatically starts at the beginning of the dive. By momentarily pressing the left button, I can reset the stop-watch to Zero.

During the dives, the stop-watch function will not reset. On the surface, however, I can actuate the left button to navigate menus and change fields. Is there a setting, of which I do not know, that would prevent the unit from resetting the stop-watch? Can this be repaired, if a problem exists?

Usually, this issue is user-error, in that the left button is being held too long. If you are certain the button is not being held too long and the stop-watch is not resetting, replacement of the computer is the only option.
