I spent only one day eating off of AKR's premises and that was our last No Dive day when we went sight seeing. The meals are great and I think the gift shop sold snacks...but I don't remember for sure.

I would be surprised if you had "meal" issues there.

Have a great time :)

bring a rain coat its been very wet recently (november is the wettest month of the year) and unfortunately the more often it rains the worse the sand flies are.

I didn't realize Sandy Bay also had brick oven pizza place. I didn't get up to the one at West End very often, despite it's beautiful setting. I found the sandfliesand mosquitoes too fierce in the jungle area away from any chance of a breeze. Rotisserie Chicken is one of my favorite places than eat. Good plain food served in a good plain open restaurant.

I've spent a number of November's in Roatan and weather can be a mixed bag, as has been said. Still I always had better weather than at Christmas.

Enjoy your trip (which I'm sure you will). I look forward to reading all about it upon your return.

I'll be there with the perma-buddy Dubi same week. Nice resort, internet was spotty last time we were there, but that was with the Scubaboard Invasion. It seems the Invasion crew sucks up the internet anywhere they go though. As for snacks, you could pick stuff up at the gift shop on the dock, but food is plentiful and pretty goid for an all inclusive resort.
