Ok Just booked on AirJamaica to get to Curacao...Any horror stories..love stories???
How are they on weight limits???

I've flown them to Bonaire a few times. Their first class service is pretty disappointing. I'd fly coach if I had to fly Air Jamaica again.

Well Dan,
I looked on Travelocity for reports..But I will tell you 9 times out of 10 the only posters will be the unhappy ones. Here I can trust my fellow scuba people.

Flew AirJamaica a few years back - they were fine.

We even had crisps (to you yanks 'chips') made from bananas, given to us during the flight - tasted quite yum!

Would I flight again with them? - Yes.

Flew Air Jam to Bonaire 3 times. Only got there once without a hitch. I have spent more time waiting around the Montego Bay terminal than any other airport in the world. The last time our connect to Bonaire was so late the crew's flight time elapsed leaving us stranded. To their credit, they put us up in a nice AI hotel, but it was one day less diving. And we had to raise holy hell to get them to roll out another plane for us the next day.

But here is a real horror story that aired in NBC in NYC this past week. It's still hard to believe and Air Jam offered no explanation.

Chippie's Banana chips....

Mmmm, can't get better than that :).

As for Air Jamaica currently, I think they've sorted out most of their problems.
They're under new management.........

Under new management? Yes, the Jamaican government. Things have gone poorly since the government took over. Prices up, service down, planes grounded due to lack of maintenance, poorer on-time performance, and a poor attitude.

I've flown AJ 7 times O'hare to Montego Bay amd once O'hare to BON thru MBJ. I thnk I've had 1 or 2 legs total on time. The rest ran off schedule. I'm flying US Airways to Jamaica this year.
