Just the same as blowing smoke rings

Sorry I do not smoke.
This is something I will try in my next dive.

Perse your lips around your tounge; pressurize your mouth; use your tounge as a valve! capire?
(quickly pull your tounge straight back) All with head facing up. This is how I do it, and I get a good one every once in a while too!
See you topside! John

Yup, what Max said.

I purse my lips, pressure up the mouth and upper airway and forcefully say "POOH". Water stability (low current, etc...) seems to be the biggest mitigating factor.

Have fun!

go to:
/deepocean
and look for the bubble rings link

I've been told it is almost like spitting a loogie! Maybe that is why my rings don't look good though.
