Air refills in Gulf Islands ?

Interested to see if there are any places to get air ( or even vis/hydro checks ) done in Southern Gulf Islands ( Gabriola, Thetis, Galiano , etc.
It is a PITA to drag the tanks home every trip for fills.

There used to be a guy in Silva Bay that had a shop and charter business but he has passed long ago. I wonder if his compressor is still in the Island.

Buy a small compressor ?
They are quite affordable in the grand scale and I’m surprised so few active divers have one especially in the more secluded areas.
