Here's something you might find interesting. I used Google's Flow to create this video, with two photos - selfies that I took as a local shore dive in New Jersey.

Can I use two photos of a diver and a shark and create a video of a shark attacking and biting the diver and swallowing him in big bloody chunks?
Dunno! Give it a try...

I was going to see if I could make that shark eating a diver video, but it turns out that Flow is a subscription based google service. They are currently offering 1-month for free, but I had little desire to plug in my credit card or paypal info to play with it just to have to figure out how to cancel it in 30 days.

Pretty scary, IYAM.

Pretty easy, there are a lot like that. Just get a subscription and cancel it immediately. You get a month to play with it for $20. PayPal makes it very easy to cancel, since you can see all of your subscriptions in one place.

Interesting that the model had the foresight to generate the diver fake closing the DSV on the loop of the rebreather — smart enough to leverage bubbles as well to cover what it can’t account for

Interesting question. I guess to know whether that was intentional or random we would need to know how much rebreather footage was in the training dataset. Also, this is one that looked pretty good. I had to do it about 10 times to get one where there weren't bubbles coming out after I had surfaced!

LOL
