Ok all,

I am having a horrible decision picking between two bp/w set-ups. the Dive-Rite Transplate w/ Trek wing or the Halcyon Eclipse #40 lift. If anyone has their opinion about the two, or about thiers, pros/cons could u mention them? they are both priced at about the same (unless someone knows otherwise....) but any advise would rock. thanks!

You could bring the price down on the DR rig by getting a hog harness, its what the H stuff comes w/. Aso the Trek wing is for small doubles/sidemount and the Eclipse is for singles.

The Eclipse has the added benefit of coming w/ a Very nice to have STA. your your comparing 2 dissimilar products. Out of those 2 Id go w/ the H Eclipse (if you looking for a single tank wing).

And yes Im switching all my backplates to DSS ones.

From a many aspects.....$$$$$$ wise DR beats the band.

Quality wise......I can only say what I have read here....DR has less complaints.

I dive DR gear and am very happy with it.

It is all a personal choice. Whatever you can afford...whatever suits you best.

I am not a Hogger...I love my Delux harness.....love the comfort....love the adjustability...but if you like Hog or DIR....thats cool too.

And if it all goes to heck in a handbasket.....sell whatever you have...and buy all new and start over.
