Does anyone know how cold I can dive my Aeris Ion dvt400(first stage), Aeris Ion red(second stage)?
Aeris Ion temperature rating?

******WARNING ---------- DO NOT DIVE THIS REG COLD!!!
It's the easiest breathing reg I've ever tried, but in 44 degree water this spring mine free flowed violently! Got frost bite on my lips and tongue and it scared the piss outta me. Fortunately, I caused the free flow in 20' water to see what it would do and it went plain nuts! You have to back off the settings in warm water to keep it from free flowing and in cold water you can't stop it.

I've dove mine in water from 42 degrees on up, never had a problem.

41 degrees here, no issue.
