It's my first computer and I love it. It's simple and nitrox compatible. On Other computer, you have to wait while they scroll through menus and depths to get the info you want to see. On the Pro, you just push the buttons to see what you want for as long as you want. I love it! It's fairly conservative on repetitive dives but that's ok, usually calling for a very short(2 min) deco if your stay on the bottom is slightly extended on that second or third dive. Warranty covered a water leak on mine after a year. User changeable batteries. You might check to see when it was last serviced. The factory wants to see it once a year. I saw them on a Divers Direct closeout for $150 in their last catalog, I think. Don't remember if that was just the module or the whole console. One annoyance with this one, you have to remember to turn it on before you jump. Dive it before you buy it if possible or make satisfaction and performance part of the deal.
Oh!- I just read Ian's post. Now I'm curious. I'll compare it to V-planner to check. But for the time being- Don't push it on repetitive dives!
