advanced cert. here or in turks?

hi yall this is my 1st post hope i do it right! went to cancun for xmas last yr. and went on a couple of 40ft dives and had a blast! so when the wife said we are going to the turks in sept. i signed us up for lessons, the start in a week. my question is should i try and do my advance water cert. here befor i go or wait till i get down there? if i do it here i will be in the water every weekend till i leave. not a bad thing.

Agree. The more dives you rack up before you go, the more you'll enjoy the dives on your trip. BTW, welcome to ScubaBoard!
