Ads on the left

Hi, I live in Argentina. I'm used to see ads on the left of the screen when I navigate SB forum. Usually those ads are scuba related.
Now I see political ads related to the next elections that will be held in Argentina. This is a nightmare !!!
Is there any possibility to avoid those political ads ? Scuba, gear, resorts, is OK, but to see local politicians telling lies, is too bad.
Please, I beg you !!!!

You could always go Red. That would solve the problem.

How about that.... swear I had issues but don't really use Chrome much. I like Firefox better.

Done, lovely, though those scuba related ads were ok.

You can change your preferences to opt out of political ads.

Thanks HowardE for your help and for sharing this information. A total block of ads was not what I was searching. Information that appears in ads is usefull if correctly configured. Now I know how.
