A couple of weeks ago, I saw the notices about the inaugural issue of Advanced Diver Magazine. I kept trying to download it, but my elderly computer just doesn't seem to cope well with very big pdf files. Eventually, one of the editors, John Rawlings, was kind enough to send me the magazine on a CD, and I read it this morning.
I've picked up the hard copy magazine in my LDS a few times, and always marvelled at the photography. But I don't tech dive, and I don't dive rebreathers, and I didn't think the magazine had enough to offer me to make it worth subscribing to the hard copy. But the e-zine is free! And the photography is just as fantastic as the hard copy mag. The articles about diving wrecks around the world are beautifully illustrated, both with photographs and with very clever graphic diagrams of the ships, and the writing is very good. It's diving mostly beyond anything I'll ever do, but it's great fun to read about and imagine.
Anyway, I think it was a good read, both the articles and the ads, so I wanted to share. You can find the website here.
